ETUI seminar: Polish industrial relations in the period of crises and the emerging models of capitalism in central and eastern European countries

Briefing:
The first presentation by Juliusz Gardawski will look into the evolution of the Polish model of industrial relations in the context of a broader model of Polish capitalism, it will explain the development of the role of social partners and social dialogue.  

The primary objective of the second presentation is to shed some new empirical light on the nature of the emerging post-communist capitalism in eleven Central and Eastern European countries who joined the European Union between 2004 and 2013. Ryszard Rapacki and Piotr Maszczyk will present their comparative analysis of the institutional architectures emerging in these countries against the background of the established models of capitalism co-existing in the European Union.

A light lunch will be served from 12h00 in the room.
