SETUP news
SETUP news is published on an occasional basis, highlighting particular EU Calls for Proposals and funding opportunities of interest to trade unions.
SETUP news is the heir of the former ETUI Education newsletter “Trainers’ Digest”, which since 1994 has been providing information to ETUC affiliates on EU grants, related to different areas of interest for trade unions.
SETUP news will become part of a new (in 2010) revamped EU Information Service called SETUP (Support for European trade union projects) aiming to develop a broader set of activities of advice, assistance, information, and training for ETUC affiliates, within the ETUI’s strategy in this area of work.

The economic and financial crisis: promoting a labour-friendly policy response
The current economic and financial crisis is having important consequences for citizens and workers across Europe. To address the many challenges from the regulation of the financial market to the new vision of a fair and sustainable society, ETUI has developed and published various analyses and organised a series of events having a short, medium and long term perspective. The aim is to foster debates on the causes, consequences and possible solutions to the crisis. This web page gathers the most relevant initiatives.
