The ETUI’s database on European Companies (SE) provides key information on established SEs and companies in the process of registering. For each (planned) company, a specific ‘SE Factsheet’ is available. A specific focus of interest is the issue of worker involvement within the SEs.
Since 2005 the ETUI has been regularly issuing information on registered SEs. Unfortunately, there is, as yet, no central registry of European Companies (SE). For this reason, the information available on SEs is very limited, especially with regard to employee involvement. The ETUI is seeking to fill this important gap with its research on SEs. The SE Factsheets aim to provide information on the use of the SE Statute and to monitor implementation of the SE legislation in the field of employee involvement. They deliver key data to facilitate observation and analysis of developments in this rather new but dynamic field of European company law and European industrial relations.
The SE Factsheets database today represents the most extensive collection of information on SEs. It is widely used and referred to as the key resource on SE data. Registration for access to the SE Factsheets is free of charge. More than 1,000 users have registered to take advantage of its services.
The information is compiled and updated by the ETUI's ‘SE Factsheet team’ co-ordinated by Aline Hoffmann, Romuald Jagodzinski and Anders Carson (Associate Researcher) firstname.lastname@example.org with support of the SEEurope research network.
