Social developments in the European Union

The 2010 edition of Social developments in the European Union examines the ways in which the EU has tackled the main challenges related to the fiscal crisis, the first steps towards implementation of the Lisbon Treaty and the launch of the EU2020 Strategy. Its publication will be marked at a conference which will take place on 30 May 2011 (2.30 - 6.00 p.m.) at the EESC.

Vienna, 7-8/12 December 2010 - Conference: Empowering European trade union leaders

The ETUI’s Education Department is holding this two-day conference to propose and discuss ideas about ways of improving the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) strategy on trade union training. The gathering will offer the opportunity to present the ETUI training programme for 2011 and assess the outcome of some recently conducted innovative projects.
