How do I enrol?

The courses given by ETUI Education are accessible to all European trade unionists and members of trade unions organisations related to ETUC.

To avoid logistics problem, everyone is kindly requested to contact their national organisations, which will make the necessary steps with ETUI Education to register them.

ETUI Education gives different types of courses:

Language courses

Candidates for the language courses are required to have an adequate level of French or English. In order to establish their level, they will be asked to pass the Diagnostic Test which will be administered by the contact person in their national organisation. The test can be obtained from the Secretariat of ETUI Education.

These courses are organised on request. The training content will be agreed according to companies' specific needs. Sometimes courses are added to the regular meetings and ETUI trainers come to the company. But, on request, ETUI can also take care of the practical organisation of the seminar. Please let us know your wishes and we will send you a detailed proposal regarding the content, venue and the price of the seminar.

The courses are paid by the companies. In many cases this is laid down in the EWC or SE agreement. In other cases, training are agreed on a case by case basis between the representative body and the management of the company. The recast of the EWC Directive 2009/38/EC guarantee many EWCs and all Special Negotiating Bodies a right to training as of 5th June 2011, even if the EWC agreement does not contain any such provision on training. We will gladly advise you on these questions too.
