Additional priority: Capacity building and development of skills

Description

At its last Congress in October 2017, EUROCADRES adopted its political vision for the upcoming years on skills transition and re- and upskilling of workers. To attain higher levels of skills and qualifications, unions must support the need for everyone to access continuous skills development to keep up with the current needs of the labour market. We need to have clear action plans to encourage the interaction between the social partners and higher education Institutions at national level. On the other hand, Unions must be fully involved in designing curricula and work-based learning, keeping students and teachers' unions involved in the process, as they provide new insights to the curricula.
