Additional priority: Capacity building and development of skills

Description

EU-funded projects represent an opportunity for unions. However, the design and implementation of transnational projects require specific skills and tools. As criticised by the European Commission, applicants need to make an effort to improve the quality of project proposals they submit.

EU funded projects are an opportunity for Unions. The design and implementation of transnational projects require specific skills and tools. It is in the interest of all organisations that applicants must make an effort to improve the quality of project proposals they submit. The training will focus on Trade Union projects under Social Dialogue budget lines. This will include presentations to showcase projects implemented by national and /or European trade unions, as well as an in-depth presentation of rules and novelties of the SD budget lines, together with Q&A session with ETUC experts. A further reflection will be carried on how to match trade union priorities, at European and national level, with the requirements and main objectives of SD budget lines. Finally, participants will have the opportunity of sharing project ideas, reinforce their network and pave the way to project partnerships.
