Priority 1: Policies and tools for the future of Europe

Along with the ETUC, most of its member organisations welcome the concept of the European Pillar of Social Rights. It is a fundamental step towards a fairer Europe, but seemingly not for all.

With the original plans applicable only to the Eurozone and the possibility for member states to opt out, the Social Pillar could remain a missed opportunity for some countries.

The course aims to highlight the importance of the measure, analyse its strengths and weaknesses and find solutions as well as establish strategies for those countries that might be left out. How can they campaign for the implementation of the Pillar?
