Priority 4: Working conditions and job quality


The ETUC, with projects such as UnionMigrantNet and Labour-INT as well as its active participation in bodies of the European social dialogue, promotes the integration of migrant workers in Europe in the labour market and society at large.

In this training course, we will build on the experience of participating trade unions on one hand and make use of the ETUC experience to promote further integration and the rights of migrant workers on the other.

  • To identify what the EU and European trade unions mean by “integration”;
  • To present the discussion at EU level concerning integration
  • To share TU experiences on the integration of asylum seekers, refugees, undocumented workers and migrants as well as the labour.INT socialdialogue practices;
  • To discuss how to access, contribute and reinforce the UnionMigrantNet network;
  • To develop further ideas for trade union intervention at national level to promote the integration of third-country nationals.
