Project management and financing

Since 2008, the ETUI Education and Health & Safety departments have been organising a training course, following up the request from the Workers' Group of the Advisory Committee for Safety and Health at Work. The Workers' Group, in pointing out the increasing lack of resources in the area of health and safety activities at national level, had in fact raised the necessity of organising a European training activity related to the information on the possibilities of EU funding for health and safety at work and the requirements for submitting a quality project proposal. The lack of resources has become more and more evident with the dramatic austerity measures adopted in most of the European countries, cutting health and safety measures at work. The training will give participants an opportunity to analyse the content of the various European grants in this area of work, and, therefore, to increase their chances of success when presenting project applications.
