Background

Jane is an Adjunct Professor of Employment Relations at Massey University, New Zealand, and was formerly at Auckland University of Technology (NZ), the University of Warwick (UK), and the University of Auckland (NZ). She is also an appointed member of the International Labour and Employment Relations Association (ILERA) Executive Committee, an executive member of the Association of Industrial Relations Academics of Australia and New Zealand (AIRAANZ),and an associate fellow of the Industrial Relations Research Unit (IRRU) at the University of Warwick. Jane is co-editor in chief of Labour and Relations: A journal of social and economic relations at work, and a board member of Human Relations, and of Employee Relations. She has led multiple projects employment (regulation) and industrial relations studies for the ILO and Eurofound, and has published c. 260 books, journal articles, chapters, reports and refereed papers on various work-related issues. Latterly, her work has concerned gender equity indices, the living wage, and employee voice networks.
