
Abstract
AI Talks @ ETUI is a series of inspiring (online) conversations which focus on the different dimensions of AI - ethical, social, environmental, legal, technological - and their impact on the world of work.
Top experts from academia, civil society and online rights organizations, among others, will share their insights and knowledge about artificial intelligence, building a 360° view of how AI is disrupting and reshaping the world we live in.
Guest speaker: María Luz Rodríguez Fernández, professor of labour law at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain).
In the last year she has worked as a Senior Specialist in Labour Market Institutions at the International Labour Organization in Geneva, and has drafted the report for the Expert Meeting on Decent Work in the Platform Economy held in October 2022. She is considered one of the leading experts on the impact of technology on work. Her latest books in Spanish are “Plataformas digitales y mercado de trabajo”, 2019 and “Humanos y robots”, 2020. In 2017 Maria Luz spent one month at the ETUI as guest researcher exploring the topic of digitalisation.
