Bulgarian and Latvian unions educate future workers on their rights

Trade unions across Europe are looking for new ways to approach young people. Labour organisations in Bulgaria and Latvia have been particularly innovative in this respect: they used non-standard communication channels to raise future workers’ awareness of their rights as employees and acquaint them with union activities.

The Brexit negotiations will have a big impact on the most vulnerable workers

The outcome of the upcoming negotiations between the European authorities and the United Kingdom over its exit from the European Union (EU) may have a huge impact on workers’ rights, in the UK but also in the rest of Europe, according to a report commissioned by the Trades Union Congress (TUC). The ones occupying the lowest rungs on the labour market may be the main losers in terms of workplace rights.

Journée mondiale pour la sécurité et la santé au travail : les discriminations nuisent à la santé

Le mouvement syndical international rendra hommage ce vendredi 28 avril aux travailleurs décédés et blessés en raison de leur travail. Cette année, la Confédération syndicale internationale (CSI) dénoncera l'impact des discriminations sur la santé et la sécurité des travailleurs.
