Ce livre examine les impacts des changements dans la régulation des niveaux et des formes d'emploi dans neuf pays de l'UE (Espagne, Italie, Estonie, Slovaquie, Pologne, Allemagne, France, Danemark et Royaume-Uni). Il montre que la réduction de la protection de l'emploi n'a apporté ni avantages du marché du travail ni avantages économiques. En outre, les changements postérieurs à la crise ont été accompagnés d'une augmentation de l'emploi précaire dans les pays qui avaient particulièrement misé sur les efforts de dérégulation.
