This document describes in detail the ETUI's main research and training priorities and projects for the working year 2019-2020.

The five priorities guiding the institute's research and training activities for 2019-2020 are the following:

  • Policies and tools for the future of Europe
  • Workers’ participation and industrial relations
  • Sustainable development and industrial policy
  • Working conditions and job quality
  • Trade union renewal

Social Dialogue – in its specifically European guise – is the raison d’être of the ETUI and hence relevant and instrumental to all five priorities. For this reason it has been mainstreamed so as to be applicable within each priority area.
