Deadline for registration

During last year we all had to learn how to work using mainly digital tools. We probably all became familiar with “webinars” – a label used for a variety of events – and we’ve gradually tried to transform them also into a training tool.

The ETUI Education Department, based on its experience, wants to share some of the knowledge acquired with trade union trainers who are more often involved in designing and running “webinars”.

The aim is to have a common understanding and, with this as a starting point, support Organizations in designing and running increasingly sophisticated and pedagogically strong digital formats.

To this end, we launch the 1st edition of this self-paced online course, accessible for 3 weeks. The expected individual workload is 3-4 hours. The online course, hosted on Moodle, is provided in English.

Aims:

At the end of the course learners should be able to:

  • prepare effectively for participating in a webinar, including your equipment and your environment;
  • appreciate the benefits of preparation and rehearsal for an effective learning event;
  • design a sequence of learning activities to achieve ambitious learning outcomes in webinars;
  • manage the diverse roles in rehearsing and producing an effective webinar.

Participants: A maximum of 50 participants can be accepted. The final confirmation of the participants will be done by ETUI bearing in mind the requirements for the target group, and the “first come, first served” rule. This training is addressed to trade unionists from ETUC affiliated Organizations, in particular trade union trainers.

Individual expressions of interests can be made through national contact persons (see the list here). The ETUI Education team is available for clarification and support, please contact Ilaria Costantini and/or Sylviane Mathy. Participation in this course is free of charge.
