The world today requires the capacity to operate assertively. It is necessary to increase analytical skills and develop strategies at all levels. A way of thinking that is critical, open and strategic is a method to be learned and developed at the European level to define future strategies for a trade unionism that is effective, modern and long-term. The training aims to reinforce the strategic and creative thinking capacities of leaders who take decisions in their organisations.

Aims of the training

  • To acquire methodologies for strategic thinking in a trade union environment.
  • To increase analytical capacity when considering a given initial situation that we want to change.
  • To practice foresight using the horizon-scanning and scenarios methods.
  • To explore frameworks for planning strategy.
